Daily Bible Devotion, 13 August, Isaiah 36 ( Yesaya 36), ” King Hizkia in trouble, Raja Hizkia dalam pergumulan”

Isaiah 36:1-2 (NET) In the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah’s reign, King Sennacherib of Assyria marched up against all the fortified cities of Judah and captured them.
The king of Assyria sent his chief adviser from Lachish to King Hezekiah in Jerusalem, along with a large army. The chief adviser stood at the conduit of the upper pool which is located on the road to the field where they wash and dry cloth.

Yesaya 36:1-2 (TB) Maka dalam tahun keempat belas zaman raja Hizkia majulah Sanherib, raja Asyur, menyerang segala kota berkubu negeri Yehuda, lalu merebutnya.
Raja Asyur mengutus juru minuman agung dari Lakhis ke Yerusalem kepada raja Hizkia disertai suatu tentara yang besar. Ia mengambil tempat dekat saluran kolam atas di jalan raya pada Padang Tukang Penatu.
